Health & Safety notice

As a support service team, we provide guidance, support, coaching, advice and instruction to enable all staff within FM to discharge their own H&S responsibilities effectively, as they in turn provide an FM service within their own disciplines. 

Our vision is to create a workplace that is incident and injury free.

Our mission is to ensure everyone returns home safely every day, by de-risking the organisation, managing any risks that cannot be eliminated, and developing a positive safety culture.

The Director of Facilities Management regards Health and Safety as a core management function;
Loughborough University Facilities management is committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of its staff, employed contractors and the wider University community.’

The Facilities Management Health, Safety and Environmental Policy will be reviewed regularly and whenever necessary, revised in the light of legislative, University Policy or other changes.
