Enhancing Student Engagement
- This project looked at supporting the transition of students from school to University
This project has encapsulated five strands covering induction (and returners), academic and personal tutoring, students and student representation, peer support, and networks/communities of interest. It is particularly interested in supporting the transition of students from school to university and in identifying factors that can support and sustain student academic performance.
The project output included:
- a set of Essential Induction Information: Frequently Asked Questions subsequently mainstreamed into the brochure sent to new undergraduate students prior to their arrival at Loughborough
- the beta version CLEAR: Department / School audit tool is designed to support self-evaluation efforts, as well as future planning, aimed at supporting student engagement
