Loughborough's Associate Dean for Teaching for the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences awarded HEA Principal Fellow status
Loughborough University's Prof Joanna Bullard has been awarded the status of Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
The HEA Principal Status is awarded to highly experienced members of staff whose academic careers are combined with substantial strategic responsibilities in connection with key aspects of teaching and supporting learning.
Prof. Bullard joined Loughborough University in 1998 as a lecturer in Geography. She became the Associate Dean for Teaching for the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences in 2014 and is the current chair of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) Geography degree accreditation panel.
She is the second member of academic staff at Loughborough University to achieve this prestigious status.
