Funded Teaching Awards – applications now open
Teaching matters at Loughborough, and our funded awards which support, celebrate and develop practice are open for applications.
If you have an idea you want to explore which could improve our teaching and learning, apply for funding through the Teaching Innovation Awards. From this year these are open to all in our learning community – students as well as academics and learning support staff. This will let Loughborough benefit by drawing on the perspectives of all involved in teaching and learning. Approximately £20,000 is available within the Teaching Innovation Awards. Individual awards generally attract around £3,000 but up to £5,000 can be awarded if merited. Applications are focused (rather than onerous) and the deadline is 6 March 2015 - full guidance and application details appear on the CAP website here.
Are you or do you know of an academic colleague who demonstrates excellence in research-informed teaching? Encourage them to submit a nomination through their School for the Research-informed Teaching Awards. Success is recognised with funding to support your continued practice. Criteria and application details can be found here. Successful applicants secure funding to further their individual research-informed work and receive personal recognition at graduation.
