Postgraduate Taught or Research students

Once you have a firm offer for your course, if you require accommodation from September 2022 you can apply online now. Accommodation offers will be sent (subject to availability) from mid July.  Please see Prospective Students – Postgraduate  information and How to Apply as a postgraduate student.

If you will be arriving in January 2023, applications are open.  Accommodation offers will be sent (subject to availability) from December 2022.

Undergraduate Confirmed/Deferred students

If you have a confirmed place at Loughborough, you will be able to register your online account and reserve a room from 10:00 on Wednesday 15 June until 05:00 on Friday 1 July 2022.

Providing that you have completed your online registration prior to 05:00 Wednesday 27 July 2022, Loughborough University will guarantee you a room in University accommodation.

You will be sent an email from late May advising you how and when you can apply. Please see Prospective Students – Undergraduate  information and How to Apply as a first year Undergraduate.

Undergraduate Conditional students

Once you have firmly accepted a Conditional offer, you will be able to register your online account from 10:00 on Thursday 16 June to 05:00 on Wednesday 27 July 2022.  You will be sent an email from late May advising you how and when you can register.

Providing that you have completed your online registration prior to 05:00 on Wednesday 27 July 2022, Loughborough University will guarantee you a room in University accommodation.

After the A Level results in August, if you have met the conditions of our offer and become Unconditional firm, you will be able to reserve a room in hall from Thursday 18 or Friday 19 August 2022 depending on your course

Foundation Art & Design students

Once you have accepted your academic offer at Loughborough, you are eligible to register an account online from mid June 2022.

Halls accommodation is not guaranteed, however we promise to help you secure University allocated accommodation. A certain number of rooms in University Halls are designated for your course (excluding Halls let for 41 weeks). 

Once you have met the conditions of our offer and have been accepted at Loughborough, (providing that you have completed your online registration prior to 05:00 on Wednesday 27 July 2022), you will be able to apply for a room in hall from 10:00 on Monday 22 August 2022.

You will be sent an email from June advising when you can register.

Erasmus, International Exchange and direct entry students

Apply online from mid June 2022.  Please see Prospective Students 1 semester or full year information and How to Apply as a first year Undergraduate. 

You should receive an email from your department to advise how and when to apply.

If you are coming to Loughborough in semester 2 and require accommodation from February 2023, you can apply for accommodation as soon as you recieve your University ID number.

We will have accommodation available in both our catered and self-catered halls. The accommodation contracts will commence from Sunday 5 February 2023, and will finish early/mid July depending on the hall allocated.  If you wish to arrive prior to 5 February please contact us to check availability.

Undergraduate Insurance and Clearing students 

If you are not accepted by your firm choice university when you receive your results, but have still met the conditions of our offer, you will become unconditional firm at Loughborough.  You will be eligible to apply for accommodation from 10:00 on Monday 22 August after the A Level results.

You will not be able to apply for accommodation until you are accepted at Loughborough.
