Covid-19 planning

We have made our accommodation contracts more flexible this year, to help everyone through the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.   The University's target start date for student Licence agreements is 3 October 2020, but if the University has to postpone the start date of your Licence, you will only have to pay from the postponed start date.  We are providing subsidised accommodation for international [or anyone required to quarantine] students during their quarantine period if they choose to spend their quarantine in our accommodation before the Licence start date.  We are also introducing additional cancellation rights.  Please read the Covid-19 Appendix to the Licence Terms & Conditions very carefully, because these clauses will form part of your Licence agreement. References in your accommodation contract to the “Licence Period” include any changes referred to in this Offer that [you or] we make to the period you booked.

Right to cancel

If the student wishes to terminate the Licence before the Licence Period, clause 6.2 of the Licence Terms and Conditions will apply, also the Cancellations clause under our Covid-19 Appendix.  The Student is required to submit a completed Accommodation Cancellation Form obtainable online.
