Accommodation for new students for 2019 entry

Undergraduate Firm Choice students

Applications open:  You are able to Register and set your preferences online.

Providing that you have completed your online registration prior to Monday 29 July 2019, Loughborough University will guarantee you a room in University accommodation. Please note: you will not be able to proceed to reserve your room at this stage.

Undergraduate Insurance students

Applications open:  You are able to Register and set your preferences online.

You will not be able to apply for accommodation until you are accepted at Loughborough. Please note that offers of accommodation may not be made until after 2 September 2019.

Undergraduate Clearing/Adjustment students

If you accept an offer via Clearing or Adjustment, you will be able to access the room preferencing system from Monday 19 August 2019.  If you apply for accommodation before 05:00 on Friday 30 August you will be guaranteed a place in University halls.

Foundation Art & Design students

Once you have accepted your academic offer at Loughborough, you are eligible to register an account online from Friday 31 May 2019.

Halls accommodation is not guaranteed, however we promise to help you secure University allocated accommodation. A certain number of rooms in University Halls are designated for your course (excluding Halls let for 41 weeks). Priority for accommodation will be given to non LE11 students.

Once you have met the conditions of our offer and have been accepted at Loughborough, (providing that you have completed your online registration prior to Monday 29 July 2019), you will be able to reserve a room in hall from Monday 19 August 2019 (if you have not pre-registered you will only be able to apply preferences).

You will be sent an email from mid May advising you how and when you can apply.

Erasmus / Exchange and direct entry students

Applications open:  You are able to Register and set your preferences online.

Halls accommodation is not guaranteed, however we promise to help you secure University allocated accommodation.  A certain number of rooms in University Halls are designated for your course, however as these rooms are limited, offers will be made subject to availability.

You should receive an email from the Student Accommodation Centre to advise you how to apply.  Please note that offers of accommodation will not be made until after 2 September 2019.

Postgraduate Taught or Research students

Once you have a firm offer for your course, you can apply online now.  Please see Prospective Students – Postgraduate  information and How to Apply as a postgraduate student.

Performance athletes

If you have been offered accommodation via the Sports Development Centre, they will send you details on how to apply for your allocated room.  Please see Prospective Students – Performance Athletes information

 

Additional information

Disability / medical or mental health condition - the University is committed to ensuring that students with a disability, including those with long term physical and mental health conditions, receive the support they need to succeed.

If you have any long term health / mental health condition, e.g. Crohn's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, PTSD, autism which affects your choice of accommodation you should use the Disability and Health Portal to enable us to review your requirements and evidence.
