Meet employers & talk to returning placement students

  • Poster presentatons: Speak to students who were on Placement last year and talk to them about their experiences
  • Meet employers and find out what placement and career opportunities they have
  • CV clinics, hints and tips on how to apply for vacancies
  • Industry panel - Q&A session with companies 
  • Emerging Tech - Employer Encounter workshop (5.30pm-7.30pm) - booking is required for this workshop. To register click here.

The Placements and Careers Fair is open to all School of Science students. You will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from returning students about their experiences out in industry and to engage with employers who are looking to recruit students belonging to chemistry, computer science, maths, physics and natural sciences related disciplines. Employer activities will run throughout the afternoon; please book onto each event using the links above.

Current final year students are also invited to speak to employers about their graduate job opportunities. 

The School of Science Placements and Careers Fair is an annual event, held in partnership with Careers Network.
