Brain-on-a-chip: How to model this in numbers and with living cells

Presented By Loughborough University

About this event

This is an informal workshop aimed at bringing people together to discuss how we can both biologically engineer living neuronal systems and defined networks in the laboratory, and how mathematical modelling of these can contribute to understanding network function, disease progression, biological computing, etc. This is a kick-off meeting, so I anticipate short talks of what people can do and what we might want to do in this area. This may include those working on developing stem cell derived neuronal models through to those working on design and development of new sensors for use in such models.
