Anna graduated from the University of Buckingham in 2019 with a First Class Honors BSc in Psychology, before achieving an MSc with Distinction at Manchester Metropolitan University in Sport and Exercise Psychology in 2020. Following this, Anna was awarded a studentship to study for a PhD at Loughborough University in October 2020.
Research title: Evidence-based classification for athletes with vision impairment.
The International Paralympic Committee mandates the development of evidence-based, sport-specific classification systems for Paralympic athletes. In line with these requirements, Anna’s research aims to address classification in sports without an able-bodied equivalent by developing an evidence-based classification system for visually impaired athletes in the sport of goalball.
