SSEHS Annual Postgraduate Research Conference

The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences annual Postgraduate Research Conference held last week showcased the School’s doctoral research and gave full-time and part-time finalists students the opportunity to present their work to an audience.

The winners of the best oral presentations for each Research Theme were:

Jen Craig (Lifestyle for health and well-being). Jen presented on: Effects of Folic Acid Supplementation on Endothelial Function in Healthy Middle-aged Men and Post-menopausal Women. 

David O’Byrne (Participation in sport and exercise). David presented on: Inverting the Pyramid: Decoloniality and Knowledge in Grassroots Sport for Development and Peace (SDP) Activism.

Rob Miller (Sport performance). Rob presented on: Muscle Morphology and Strength Determinants of Elite Sprint Running Performance.
