Performance Analysis masterclass

Staff and students are invited to a performance analysis masterclass, delivered by Chris Loxston, Group Leader of Football Performance Analysis & Insights at FIFA, on Thursday 29 April (18:00 - 19:30).

Chris has worked as a Performance Analyst in professional sport for nearly 15 years, starting out at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) where he supported athletes at World and European Championships and Olympic Games qualification tournaments. After leaving the EIS in 2010, Chris worked in the Middle East for 8 years in domestic football with Al Ahli FC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Pro League. During this time Chris also worked in international football with the Saudi Arabian National Team at the AFC Asian Cup 2015 and with the UAE National Team in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. Chris joined FIFA at the start of 2018 and since then has developed the Performance Analysis structures within the Governing Body to a level where FIFA now has the capacity to collect Enhanced Football Datasets and develop new Enhanced Football Intelligence to better understand the game.
