Loughborough was one of the only universities which offered a joint honours in Geography and Sport Science. One week I would be out on a Geography field trip taking samples from a lake and the next week I would be leading a rugby coaching session!
The variety of styles that we got to experience with different professors gave us room to find our ways, mould our own identities as students, and eventually guide our goals into what we wanted to achieve out of these learning years.
I enjoyed the freedom you are afforded to explore different aspects of subjects and the interactions and arguments this led to.
Take every opportunity you get to try out new things. It can take some time to work out what you want out of your career, even if you think you have a good idea, there are so many avenues down that road you can try out.
