Key roles and responsibilities
- Writing and overseeing the delivery of the School's strategic marketing and implementation plans, ensuring they are integrated and aligned with central plans and campaigns to support the school’s and university's strategic objectives.
- Creating, writing and coordinating the production of all School marketing materials and activity for undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) recruitment, including all print materials (e.g. flyers, banners, postcards) and digital materials (websites, video, PowerPoint presentations, CRM emails, digital advertising).
- Developing and integrating School research and enterprise marketing and communications plans to successfully promote its research capabilities and enterprise activities to a wide range of stakeholders, working closely with colleagues in Research and Innovation Marketing, Corporate Communications (PR) and Alumni Relations. This includes (but is not limited to) promotion of events (inaugural lectures, conferences etc.), support with media enquiries and requests, stakeholder news stories and PR opportunities.
Additional responsibilities
Peter is also the university’s representative at the East Midlands Institute of Technology with respect to Level 7 Apprenticeships.
