Design students recognised at WorldStar Student awards

The international competition, run by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), saw 14 Loughborough students recognised in the awards.

WPO designed the competition to encourage and demonstrate the talents of both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as display innovative ways of thinking in the field of packaging.

Harry Rigler was awarded a certificate of merit for his entry Oni-Go – a 100% recyclable packing design that provides an experience resembling the traditional Japanese Onigiri presentation. This placed him in the top ten entries out of 300 worldwide.
