Emily is a technician in the Print, Stitch and Dye Hub. Her main duties are to support the academic and research use of the workshop and instruct the procedures and correct use of the equipment; specifically demonstrating how to expose an image on to a silk screen. Emily is also responsible for steaming fabrics as part of the finishing process when screen printing on to a textile material.
Graduating from Loughborough with a degree in Printed Texiles, Emily went on to work as Print Designer at Alexander McQueen and has recently joined the technical team here at Loughborough University.
