Large Volume Metrology for Human-Robot Interaction Zones
This project involves integrating a framework of large volume metrology systems, to provide a common platform to provide robust digital models of complex manufacturing cells that are designed to enable closer and more effective human with robot collaborative working. The team is addressing issues related to the practical deployed of the technology, routes to verifying and quantifying system performance for traceability and certification of safety systems, and architectures for fast and efficient storage and processing of the acquired data.
