Intelligent Automation Moves Home

Over the past several months the Intelligent Automation Centre has been in the process of moving into a brand new purpose-built lab, located in the Sir David Davies building, in the heart of Loughborough University's campus

Special thanks go to Dr Will Eaton, one of the Centre's Research Associates, who lead this project in conjunction with colleagues in Wolfson School. The scale of this significant undertaking was made even more challenging by the constraints brought about by Covid-19.

Although the majority of our robots and cells have now been relocated to the new lab, we have yet to rebuild some of the cells and finalise the recalibration of the robots. However, we expect this to be completed during the first half of 2021.

Once the new lab is up and running, photographs will be posted on the News section of our website, so watch this space.........
