In this talk, IAS Visiting Fellow Amanda Ngabirano will share insights from her career as an urban and regional planner in East Africa, including her current project for sustainable and inclusive transport, which is being implemented in Kenya and Uganda. Her vision of transition, is to make a positive, tangible contribution towards fair, coordinated and sustainable urban development through design, partnerships, advocacy and stakeholder engagement, at local, regional and international levels.
