The Institute is delighted to host two IAS Visiting Fellows, filmmaker Chris Ivey and artist Vanessa German, for an in-person afternoon of film, performance and discussion.

My Life at the Moment

Chris Ivey

A narrated ensemble presentation of short films that will include two segments from the We Are Here installation ("The Silence When Black Women Die" and "Grenfell- Part One"), a video diary film from the filmmaker’s first experiences in South Africa, sections of the new short film The Legacy of Butterflies (in partnership with Duolingo) and scenes from his new documentary Introducing Brian Broome about a friend whose memoir is taking the world by storm.
