Following the success of the Institute of Advanced Studies Arctic Geopolitics Spotlight Series workshop ‘The Arctic and Beyond’, Dr Duncan Depledge and colleagues have organised a third Virtual Workshop on ‘Remote Geopolitics: New Voices in the Arctic’.

This virtual workshop, organised in partnership with The Polar Journal, will give an international group of promising, early career scholars the opportunity to present original research papers showcasing new thinking and new directions for IR research in the Arctic, as well as highlighting and exploring opportunities to further develop synergies between IR and other fields of scholarly inquiry, such as Arctic Area Studies and Critical Polar Geopolitics.
