Dr Abdusselam Selami Cifter will be visiting the Institute of Advanced Studies to deliver his Sound Theme Seminar on Thursday 31st October 2019
Dr Abdusselam Selami Cifter has been involved in several research/design projects in the areas of medical devices and inclusive design with the most recent one exploring the collaboration of university and civil society organisations, in which a web-based platform has been developed for promoting accessibility in design. He is currently conducting research on sound regulations for medical devices and sound in the dentistry.
Prof. Hua Dong in Loughborough Design School will be the host for Dr. Cifter under the IAS Sound Theme. During his stay, Dr. Cifter will be giving a seminar titled "Sound Requirements in Medical Equipment and Systems" on 31st October 2019 to the Loughborough research community.

Dr Cifter is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Architecture.
