The Institute of Advanced Studies is delighted to invite you to attend the launch event for our Water Theme, which will take place on Wednesday 13th November, between 2 and 4pm.
This event aims to brings experts and those interested in water from a range of disciplines at Loughborough University together to discuss interdisciplinary themes related to ‘water'. In addition, the event will allow Loughborough academics from the Water Theme team to outline the planned activities for the coming year.
The programme for this exciting event will include:
- A presentation from Alwyn Hart, Lead Scientist for Air, Land and Water Research at the Environment Agency
- A screening of Sonia Levy's short film 'For the Love of Corals'
- Poetry readings
- Forthcoming Water Theme event information
There will also be an opportunity for any Early Career Researchers involved in water-based research to display any conference posters they may have to illustrate and highlight the breadth of water research taking place across the university.
