Dr Zhengyu Lin is a Senior Lecturer in the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University, and works at the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST). Prior to his current position, he has been with Aston University as a Lecturer for more than 5 years, and with UK industry for more than 6 years. He was a senior researcher with Sharp Laboratory of Europe, and a R&D engineer with Nidec Control Techniques.

Dr Zhengyu Lin’s research interest is power electronics and its applications, which include renewable energy, energy storage, machine drives, and microgrids.
