A strong performance from the Europeans saw them ease home, winning by a 724.5-601.5 margin.
Dobbin secured second place in the 200m, continuing her fine form this season to add 7 points to Europe’s tally.
Team Europe also took a clean sweep in the women’s 400m hurdles with Beesley taking advantage of Ashley Spencer’s fall to finish third in a time of 55.49.
After her run, Beesley said:
“I love competing for Europe, last year I ran 55.55 and today I ran a bit quicker.
“It’s definitely a step in the right direction going for the Worlds now, as it’s been an up and down season. That was definitely a more competitive race form me.”
