Community groups invited to bid for University funding through the Special Projects Fund

Loughborough University is welcoming bids from community groups across Charnwood for its annual Special Projects Fund.

The Special Projects Fund is one of three rounds offered by the University as part of its Community Donations Fund programme. The fund is designed to support projects that are ‘one off’ or ‘special’ in nature.

Capital and/or revenue projects, including staff posts will qualify for funding but bids to support general administration are not considered appropriate for this fund. Bidding organisations must be non-political in nature and based in Charnwood.

The Special Projects Fund will this year accept bids of up to £7000, and further information on the Community Donations Fund, including application forms, can be found at www.lboro.ac.uk/services/community/donations-fund.

Bids for the Special Projects Fund are now live and can be submitted until Wednesday 16 May, by emailing completed forms to Jessica Metson (j.metson@lboro.ac.uk).
