Elizabeth Stokoe

Professor of Social Interaction

Elizabeth Stokoe

I’m Professor of Social Interaction in the School of Social Sciences.

This academic year, I’m working at a SaaS (‘Software as a Service’) company, Typeform, as a consultant/industry fellow. Before that, I was Associate Dean (Research) for five years. Outside of work I drink tea (a lot), run (slowly), play the piano (badly), dabble in Dungeons and Dragons RPGs (currently as Barbara the half-orc Barbarian), and read (avidly).

International Women’s Day underlines the continued need to push for a gender-balanced world in all aspects of human life – and the many ways we remain so far from it.
