Public lecture: Is health an asset? Does it enhance family, social and economic life?

About this event

Professor Paul Downward will present his public lecture with research focused on the role of health as an asset.

This has been identified as important to health policy and lies at the centre of a strategy of seeking integrated care systems within the NHS Long-Term Plan, drawing on the WHO, which also now stresses the role of health as an asset.

This lecture investigates these propositions drawing on large-scale longitudinal data for the UK.

Please note this event is open to anyone over 18 years.
