Loughborough University Choir presents 'A Christmas Carol'
A Christmas Carol
Words - Deborah McAndrew
Music - Ashley Thompson
Conductor - Eleanor Graff-Baker
Accompanist - Eleonora Babitsky
With less than two weeks before Christmas Day, you might just be starting to think ‘Bah! Humbug!’ Stop right there, and instead, take a journey back in time with the University Choir as we bring Dickens’ classic tale to life in a joyful musical setting.
The story is retold with words by award winning British playwright and actor Deborah McAndrew and music by Staffordshire composer and educator Ashley Thompson. Drawing on a wide variety of styles, old and new, this piece incorporates well-loved carols that would have been known to Dickens himself and is a perfect blend of contemporary styles and traditional sentiment. Audience participation is encouraged and seasonal good cheer guaranteed!
Free car parking available on site.
