BCS Lovelace Lecture 2021
About this event
Established in 1998, and administered by the BCS Academy of Computing’s awards committee, the Lovelace Medal is the top award in computing in the UK.
Winners of the Lovelace Medal are asked to present their work at the annual Lovelace Lecture, the following year.
This year there will be two lectures:
Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: From Foundations to Products
- Ian Horrocks, Professor of Computer Science, University of Oxford.
Multiagent systems: The Dream, the Reality
- Nicholas Jennings, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Vice-Provost for Research and Enterprise, Imperial College London and incoming Vice-Chancellor of Loughborough University.
- Michael Wooldridge, Head of Department and Professor of Computer Science, University of Oxford, and Programme Director for AI at The Alan Turing Institute.
