Cities Mentioned in Advertisements in The Economist (May 2000 - January 2001)

To be included in the data an advertisement must mention at least 5 cities. 46 advertisements qualify mentioning a total of 154 cities. The data is used in P J Taylor (2001) 'Being economical with the geography" Environment and Planning A, 33, 949-54 (see also GaWC Research Bulletin 39).
