These data constitute the basis of part of the analysis in GaWC Research Bulletin No. 149 “New Political Geographies: Global Civil Society and Global Governance through World City Networks”. The data are a subset of GaWC Data Set 17; they include just NGOs of which there are 63. Using the same criterion to cope with the sparseness of the matrix, cities are restricted to those with total practice scores of at least 5. 149 cities qualify. The final matrix arrays the activity values of 63 NGOs in149 cities. Download Data Set: [Excel ]
