This is the unique number assigned to you by Student Finance, England (SFE). You will only be assigned a number if you are taking out a tuition fee loan, maintenance loan and/or are eligible for a maintenance grant. The numbers are supplied to the University directly from Studnet Finance, England. However, if this field is blank you can enter the number yourself. Your Student Support Number can be found on the documentation that you have received by SFE and will begin with four letters (usually 'SFDU'), followed by eight numbers and a further letter.
