We are delighted to confirm that Loughborough University will reimburse the full cost of quarantine to the value of £1,750, for new undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) students arriving from Red List countries.

Loughborough University will reimburse the full cost of quarantine to the value of £1,750, for new undergraduate and postgraduate students arriving from Red List countries. This will apply to those students beginning a programme of study with us in October 2021 or January 2022 at either of our campuses in the East Midlands or in London.

You will need to book into a Government approved hotel before you travel to the UK – you may be asked for proof of booking and payment when you board the aircraft or when you arrive at the UK border control so keep your confirmation emails easily accessible.

Students arriving from these countries are required to complete a 10 day quarantine period in a Government approved hotel, travel to the University and enrol on their chosen programme before they are eligible to apply for (red list) government-approved hotel quarantine reimbursement.

Further information relating to the reimbursement process will be confirmed in due course. Please keep checking our webpages for the latest information.
