Young, healthy adults (18-35 years) wanted for research study
We are interested to find out whether the structure and function of your blood vessels are altered after engaging in a short session of walking.
We would also like to learn whether the consumption of folic acid (a nutrient found naturally in many fruits and vegetables) favourably influences your blood vessels. Findings from this research could identify strategies that help to reduce the risk of developing heart disease as we get older.
We need participants who meet the following criteria:
• Aged 18-35 years
• Engaging in less than 2 hours of structured exercise each week
• No known cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, or other chronic diseases
• 3 visits to the laboratory over a two-month period
Measures to be taken:
• Blood samples
• Blood pressure
• Non-invasive measurements looking at the structure and function of your blood vessels
Please get in touch (email@example.com) if you would like more information about taking part.
