the 2019 / 2020 Ford Motor Company Fund Smart Mobility Challenge now!

Enter the 2019 / 2020 Ford Motor Company Fund Smart Mobility Challenge now!

Loughborough School of Design and Creative Arts is proud announce the forthcoming launch of the 2019 / 2020 Ford Motor Company Fund Smart
Mobility Challenge.

The challenge tasks teams of Loughborough University students to come up with new ways to make people’s lives better by enabling them to move freely, easily and safely through new
products, app’s and services. There will be prizes to invest in the projects with the most potential to help to realise their implementation.

Student teams may comprise between 3 and 6 people from Schools across the University. The only hard and fast rule is that each team should have at least one ‘design expert’ from Loughborough School of Design and Creative Arts. The challenge is extra-curricular but will be supported by a series of specialist Wednesday afternoon workshops run by staff from the School of Design and Creative
Arts, guest lecturers and field experts. The workshops will help student teams choose a project, conduct field research, analyse data, generate ideas and prototype them, and develop the business case behind proposed solutions.

If you are interested in taking part, register to attend the launch and introductory workshop on Wednesday 27th November at the Design School (Room 2.34) 1pm - 3:30pm. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ford-motor-company-fund-smart-mobility-challenge-20192020-tickets-82186043669
