The purpose of this study is to assess regional distribution of thermal sensitivity in the foot, which will provide insight into the requirements for thermal comfort. We are currently recruiting paid female participants who are physically active, White European / North American, aged 18-30 years, AND have a shoe size of UK women's 6 or larger.

The study involves 5 sessions in total: one familiarisation session (~1 hr) and four experimental sessions (1.5 hrs each). For each of the experimental sessions, sensitivity tests of the foot will be conducted after the experimental condition (rest / running / passive heating / passive cooling).

Participants will be financially reimbursed for their time, and receive their body composition and oxygen uptake assessment results.
