Participants needed for a nutrition study
The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University is recruiting participants for a nutrition study that will investigate whether a novel dairy fat supplement can improve heart and brain health (Dairy study).
If you are:
A healthy, non-smoking male or female, aged between 40 and 70 years
Body mass index (BMI): 25-45 kg/m2
Not diabetic or taking current medication for cholesterol, blood pressure or
inflammatory conditions
AND willing to consume ready-to-mix powder shakes twice daily over a 2 x 4-week study periods
Then you might like to take part in our study at Loughborough University!
You will be invited to complete:
45-min screening visit
30-min familiarisation visit
Four x 1.5-hour study visits (after a 12-hour overnight fast). These will involve body composition measures, blood sample collection and non-invasive assessment of heart health
AND four x 1-hour computer-based tests measuring mood, anxiety and cognition (brain function)
You will be reimbursed for your time!
