We are looking for participants for an online study about the relationship of number processing and memory performance. More specifically, we want to investigate how different aspects of memory influence how we write down numbers.
Participants must fulfill all of the following inclusion criteria:
• Participants must be 18 or over and native English speakers
• Participants must have learned maths in English in primary and secondary school
• Participants must be right-handed
• Participants must have a stable internet connection
• Participation is only possible via laptop (no tablet or mobile phone) with a working camera/webcam
The study takes place via Zoom. During the study, participants will be asked to write numbers on a piece of paper. It is very important that the camera of the laptop can be directed downwards so that we can see the hands and the sheet of paper.
**Please find attached a picture that shows the intended setup of your laptop and camera**
If you meet the inclusion criteria and you are interested in participating or have any questions, please email Lisa Braun (L.F.Braunfirstname.lastname@example.org). Further information about the study and the procedure will be sent via e-mail.
If you know someone else who might be interested, please feel free to share this information with them.
