New research experience for 7-9-year-old’s - Get involved!
We are looking for healthy male and female 7 – 9 year-olds who have NOT entered puberty.
What will they have to do?
Visit 1: Tour of the research centre, short chat about the study and if you wish to take part we would continue with some body measurements using a measuring tape, and a short walk-run on the treadmill.
Visits 2-4: Walk & run on a treadmill for 25 minutes and then another 5 minute walk & run for sweat collection. Each visit lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours and these can take place after school and during weekends.
What will the get?
- A DECATHLON GIFT CARD to spend online or in any Decathlon store: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/
- Information about their height, weight, body composition analysis and fitness status
- They will get a fun, educational experience on how research is conducted at the Environmental Ergonomics Research Centre whilst learning a little about science and the human body
