Important: eduroam service update on Monday 13th September
HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?
There will be some disruption to the wireless and wired networks while the update is being applied.
Following the update, some older devices where the manufacturer has not provided the latest security patches will no longer be able to connect to the eduroam network after this date.
The minimum supported Operating Systems are:
• Windows 10
• macOS 10.13 High Sierra
• iOS 11 (iPhone 5s/6)
• iPadOS 13.1
• Android 6 Marshmallow
Devices not running a minimum supported operating system version will cease to connect to eduroam on Monday 13th September 2021.
If you use a university managed Windows 10 device no further action is required, and it will continue to work.
Any personal devices should be updated to the latest supported Operating System. Please refer to manufacturer’s guidance for instructions on how to apply updates on your device.

To improve the overall security of the network.
The work is scheduled to take place on the morning of Monday 13th September between 07:30 – 08:30am.
