How do you feel about the COVID-19 vaccine?

Dear students,

With our support, the Leicestershire County Council Public Health team are exploring how confident our local communities are about having the coronavirus vaccination, especially youngers groups such as the student population.

The Public Health team would like to invite students to a short (1 hour) informal online group discussion on the afternoon of Wednesday 5th May 2021 to better understand feelings toward the vaccination. They will use this information to help produce positive and proactive support about the vaccination and vaccination process through communications and resources.

The Public Health team would like to speak to students that:

• Are aged 18-30.
• Are a UK resident (either permanent or temporary e.g., an overseas student).
• Have not yet had the coronavirus vaccination.

There are no extrinsic incentives for participating – just the knowledge that you have supported the vaccine rollout in some way, shape or form by discussing your views.

If you are interested in taking part, please register your initial interest by emailing me - Dr Stuart Cockbill (s.cockbill@lboro.ac.uk). I can then pass on more information and timings as it arrives from my colleagues at LCC.

The engagement will be a Zoom or MS Teams call and you will be forwarded the link once it is set up.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Stuart.
