Saturday 4th July 2020
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS
Installation of the new chimney towards the side of the boiler house.
WHY DOES THE WORK NEED TO BE DONE/WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO STUDENTS AND STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY?
The existing chimney is of the original installation and is now beyond economical repair. The replacement of this chimney ensures that the university can continue to supply heating and hot water to students and staff within the West Park.

HOW WILL THE WORKS AFFECT ME?
During these times restrictions will be in place on the dual carriageway leading to the West Park Multi-storey Carpark. This will mean that there will be no access to this carpark during the times stated above. Please ensure that if your vehicle is parked within this carpark and you require access to it, that it is moved to another carpark before 6am on Saturday 4th July 2020.
Please see attached plan to show working area, pedestrian route and road closures.
Alternative parking can be made in carparks 3 near Pilkington Library or Holywell Carpark, additional information is available at https://maps.lboro.ac.uk/
