Annual Servicing of Portable Fire Equipment 2020 - All University Buildings

This year, the Annual Servicing of Portable Fire Equipment will be carried out in house by the Compliance Team. This will take place from 10 January 2020 through to the 30 September 2020, and will involve conducting the annual service and inspection of the portable firefighting equipment (extinguishers & fire blankets) in all buildings. Once serviced, the existing YELLOW tamper tag or disc will be replaced with a GREEN tag or disc, this year's colour coding for all portable fire-fighting equipment.

This work will ensure all fire extinguishers and blankets are up to date and fully functioning.
