We are looking to Expand our Committee!
Have you ever wanted to work with VR? So have we!
We would like to invite you to run to be part of committee and join the society. We welcome everyone with high experience with VR to those who heard about it and are interested, this is the place for you to show your passions and get new skills!
*To run for committee you do not need any experience with VR, we are here for you to get those experiences that will make you stand aside from the crowd.*
*The society is welcome to Staff and Lecturers as well.*
What are the Benefits of running for Committee?
-Great for the CV, and will make you stand out from others.
-Getting to work with State of the art Tech offered by the University.
-Carving the pathway of the Technology and its influence.
-Being able to start your own VR/AR/MR/XR project with the support of the university.
-Creating a community around our shared interest and finding like minded people.
-Getting to meet with Industry leads and organising projects or events with them!
What Roles are available to run for?
Collaborations & outreach Officer: get to work on creating a community, and collaborating with other societies and getting others involved.
Project Lead: Have an Idea for a project in relation with the Tech? This is your chance to get support for it! (This could be a Research, Art, Sport, Game, Coding and software, Film, Engineering, Hardware, ...)
Media & Marketing Officer: Get to shape the societies image and brand, and Keep the societies social media active.
Socials & Events Officer: Make and organise events and socials and keep the community active.
Welfare Officer: Make sure everyone is represented in the society, and Welfare is considered.
Technology Academia Coordinator: Work with lecturers & guest speakers and organise workshops!
