Updated Loughborough University SUA/Drone Code of Practice
The University Small Unmanned Aircraft / Drone Code of practice has been updated and a new version published and distributed to stakeholders. This is in light of the Civil Aviation Authority announcing new laws coming into effect at the end of November 2019 in respect of the registration and training of Drone Operators.
After 30 November 2019 no one can fly a Drone on campus without providing all necessary documentation including proof of Operator registration and training.
The Code of Practice contains all relevant information including exemptions, and lots of useful information about the safe use of Drones over campus.
