Participants Needed for Virtual Reality Study
Hello, I am currently running a virtual reality study at Loughborough University and looking for study participants. I am interested in studying interactions between pedestrians and self-driving cars. You do not need to have previous expertise or even basic knowledge about self-driving cars to participate. The study involves a visit to a location on the Loughborough campus (the Human Factors and Ergonomics Research Lab in the Design School, LDS 0.16) for around 60 mins. During the visit, you will be asked to wear a virtual reality headset and virtually and physically cross the road for different traffic scenarios (less than one-minute long each). After undergoing each scenario you will be asked to complete a simple questionnaire. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
You are eligible to participate if you:
- Are aged 18+
- Have normal or corrected to normal vision (it is fine to wear prescription glasses with the virtual reality headset).
- Have fine motor ability
- Have no medical history of epilepsy.
When: 14/03/2023 (Tuesday) to 06/04/2023 (Tuesday)
Where: Loughborough Design School, LDS 0.16.
