Participants needed for an audience reception study of dance performances
Hello! We are currently running a dance performance study at Loughborough University and are looking for study participants. We are interested in studying the effects of visualisations we prepared on short dance videos on any type of audience. Thus, you can participate if you are a dance lover, or if you have no previous expertise or even basic knowledge of dance or ballet. The study involves a visit to a location on the Loughborough campus for around 30 mins. During the visit, you will be asked to watch just a few animated videos of ballet performances (less than one-minute long each) with and without digital visualisations. After watching each video, you will be asked to complete a simple questionnaire. You will also receive a £5 amazon voucher as a thank you for your time. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
You are eligible to participate if you are:
• 18 years old or over
• Not visually impaired or colour blind (this is because the study involves colourful visualisations)
When: 13/03/2023 (Monday) to 17/03/2023 (Friday)
Where: Stewart Mason or Wavy Top
Your help would be much appreciated. If you think you can spare 30 minutes and are interested in participating, please fill in the Google form:
