Participants needed for a study
Are you learning to drive?
Are you a new driver (having held your licence for less than two years)?
If so, we invite you to participate in our study.
Loughborough University is working on research to find out the opinions of newly licenced drivers about sleep and driver fatigue. The research is being carried out to find out what information new drivers know about driver fatigue and if there is anything else they would like to learn about it. Your participation will be significant in helping us to understand the process of learning to drive from a learner’s perspective.
Participants will be required to attend an informal discussion group with between five and seven other newly licenced/learner drivers. The discussion will take place online and last no more than one hour and will be arranged for a mutually convenient date and time.
* You must be aged between 18 and 24 years (inclusive)
* You must be EITHER actively learning to drive OR be a new driver who has held their licence for less than two years
The discussion will take place online – you will just need a computer or device with internet access and speakers, a camera and a microphone
* You will be compensated for your time with a £15 Amazon voucher
