New health and safety policy
The new University Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) Policy summarises the key requirements of the PUWER Regulations and outlines the management systems required within the University for purchasing, using and maintaining work equipment, as well as detailed information and guidance for specific types of hazardous or safety-critical equipment.

The responsibilities of key personnel are outlined in the policy. This include responsibilities placed on any employee who uses work equipment.
